Backing Options
Quick Comfort®
Offering a comfortable surface to stand, walk, work and live on, Quick Comfort® is a cushion back system made for our 1.96m wide Designer Jet® carpets and commercial broadloom products. An integrated backing system, Quick Comfort® is a single process flooring installation with no additional underlay required, offering a convenient, cost-effective and quicker installation process. Made from 99% recycled content, Quick Comfort® requires no perimeter smooth edge and uses 50% less adhesive during installation.
ActionBac®
Invented over 50 years ago, ActionBac® is a high performing secondary backing made from woven polypropylene and is designed to complement rolls of commercial broadloom carpet. The woven construction provides excellent dimensional stability, extending the life of your carpet and providing superior performance to withstand the demands of heavy foot traffic in commercial spaces.
HealthBac®
For reliability in healthcare flooring, choose HealthBac®. A low VOC and PVC free backing system, HealthBac® provides an impervious moisture barrier, essential for some hospital, healthcare and aged care applications and is also made from a minimum of 60% recycled content.
HealthBac® prevents liquid spills from penetrating the carpet and pooling on the subfloor, preventing the growth of bacteria and mould. Offering easier maintenance, where spills can be cleaned from the surface of the carpet sooner, HealthBac® reduces maintenance time and cost.
High-Performance Fibres
With quality, performance and sustainability in mind, GH Commercial use the best carpet yarn to deliver flooring solutions that add value to a space. From quality synthetic fibres like Statron Plus®, ColorStrand®, Duracolor® and BCF Yarn Dyed Nylon to our premium natural carpet fibre, wool, we offer in-stock commercial carpet or can make custom commercial carpet to suit your project.
