GH Commercial is partnering locally and globally to improve lives where our team members, customers, and stakeholders live and work.

Take 3 for the Sea

Home to such diverse life, we are actively participating in keeping our oceans free from pollution.

In-line with our Oceanic Collection and it’s connection to Australian waterways, we’ve partnered with Take 3 for the Sea, who have created a movement that champions individual actions and uses a simple solution for a complex problem – each time you leave the beach or waterway, take 3 pieces of rubbish with you.

We make an annual donation to Take 3 for the Sea from the proceeds of the Oceanic Collection, contributing to ocean clean-ups and education programs for schools and local communities.

Trees That Count

We believe in the power of responsible resource management and innovative technology to reduce our environmental impact. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Trees That Count. This incredible environment charity is helping to plant millions of native trees throughout New Zealand.

By supporting Trees That Count, we are proud to play our part in the restoration of native bush, waterways, and combatting climate change. Through our Native Collection, we donate a portion of our proceeds to help plant more native trees across Aotearoa.

Proudly Supporting Beyond Blue

As one of Australia’s most well-known, trusted and visited mental health organisation, GH Commercial are proud to be supporting Beyond Blue, aligning with our ‘Better for People’ core value. Beyond Blue focuses on tackling depression and anxiety – the most common mental health conditions in Australia – and through this they also contribute to suicide prevention.

With a vision for all people in Australia to achieve their best possible mental health, Beyond Blue’s strategy focuses on making it easier for people to access high-quality mental health support earlier. With around 3.3 million people in Australia living with anxiety and around 1.5 million people living with depression, Beyond Blue aims to provide a safe and reliable place to access information, advice, and support.'

Supporting Local

We donate our end-of-life timber pallets to the various local Men’s Sheds who in turn break them down and turn them into fire wood. We also donate scrap materials, such as carpet off cuts, pallet dividers and yarn cones to various schools that they use in art classes.

Donations were made to Geelong Connected Communities which in turn donates to various charities/not-for-profit organisations, events and causes in the Geelong region in the areas of health and wellbeing, environment, sport, arts, youth, disability and community projects.

We donate to Geelong Mums, the Salvation Army Christmas Luncheon for the lonely, MS Australia, Give Where You Live, Cottage by the Sea, local Lions Club branches (for specific events/causes), Wombat’s Wish and we have donated flooring products to various causes such as Cockatoo Rise Warn Veterans Retreat, Samaritans House Geelong (homeless accommodation), Yarrawonga Lion’s Clubs Chemotherapy Turban Project, the Leopold Memorial Park Sports Pavilion, Geelong Mum’s, and Geelong YMCA.

In our commitment to community welfare and sustainability, we've partnered with Habitat for Humanity in New Zealand. When our surplus products are no longer needed, we donate carpets to furnish homes for families in need. This initiative provides them the opportunity to live in dry and healthy environments, showcasing our support for local communities and well-being.
