Take 3 for the Sea

We’re proud to support Take 3 for the Sea, helping keep Australia’s oceans free from pollution through clean-up events and donations from our Oceanic Collection. Together, we’re turning design into meaningful environmental impact.

Proudly Supporting Beyond Blue

Since 2024, we’ve proudly partnered with Beyond Blue to support mental health and reinforce our commitment to being Better for People. Together, we’re helping raise awareness, provide education, and deliver vital support services across Australia.

genU Arts Programme

Since 2023, we’ve partnered with genU to support people of all abilities, donating $1 per square metre sold from our Social Canvas and Chromatic Cadence collections to the genU Arts Programme. Together, we’re celebrating creativity, inclusion, and the power of art to transform communities.

Trees That Count

Since 2023, we’ve partnered with Trees That Count to support the planting of native trees across New Zealand, helping restore ecosystems and capture carbon for future generations. Through our Native Collection, every purchase contributes to this cause, turning design into positive environmental impact.

Pavilion School

In 2024, our first donation from the Here Before collection supported The Pavilion School in Victoria, which re-engages young people excluded from mainstream education. The funds provided student-designed hoodies featuring First Nations artwork, fostering unity, cultural pride, and inclusivity.

Geelong Connected Communities

We proudly support Geelong Connected Communities, an online grants platform that has distributed over $2.4 million to local organisations since 2013. Our partnership helps fund charities, events, and initiatives that strengthen the Geelong community and celebrate those who make it thrive.

At Godfrey Hirst, we believe in building stronger, more connected communities. Throughout 2024 and 2025, we’ve proudly supported a range of charities, schools, and community groups, contributing products, time, and resources to help make a difference.

Fyans Park Primary School

GH Commercial supported their 2024 Christmas Fair, helping bring festive cheer to students and families.

Cancer Council Shitbox Rally – Adam’s Vehicle

Donated 6m² of Polaris Luxury Vinyl Plank, which was creatively used to cover a panel of Adam’s Mitsubishi Magna Wagon, all in the name of raising funds for cancer research.

Geelong Scout Paddling Team

Supplied 20m² of carpet to refresh their clubhouse, where they run safety and theory training sessions for local scouts.

Anglesea Art House

Supplied 24.4m of textured carpet to this not-for-profit creative hub, supporting their mission to provide accessible art opportunities for the community.

Ronald McDonald House – Bowling Out for Cancer

Contributed to fundraising efforts for children and families navigating cancer treatment.

Homes to Help

Donated 18 linear metres of carpet to furnish pilot housing projects for those in need.

Critical Care Appeal (Barwon Health)

Provided donations towards urgently needed critical medical equipment.

Local Men's Sheds

We donate our end-of-life timber pallets to the various local Men’s Sheds who in turn break them down and turn them into firewood. We also donate scrap materials, such as carpet off cuts, pallet dividers and yarn cones to various schools that they use in art classes.

Supporting Geelong

We donate to Geelong Mums, the Salvation Army Christmas Luncheon for the lonely, MS Australia, Give Where You Live, Cottage by the Sea, local Lions Club branches (for specific events/causes), Wombat’s Wish and we have donated flooring products to various causes such as Cockatoo Rise Warn Veterans Retreat, Samaritans House Geelong (homeless accommodation), Yarrawonga Lion’s Clubs Chemotherapy Turban Project, the Leopold Memorial Park Sports Pavilion, Geelong Mum’s, and Geelong YMCA

Habitat for Humanity

In our commitment to community welfare and sustainability, we've partnered with Habitat for Humanity in New Zealand. When our surplus products are no longer needed, we donate carpets to furnish homes for families in need. This initiative provides them the opportunity to live in dry and healthy environments, showcasing our support for local communities and well-being.
