Contemporary Elegance
Designed by Architectus, Melbourne-based architecture and design studio created a perfect mix of contemporary and sophisticated spaces. This new Novotel site required a relaxed but lively feel to welcome guests from short stay visits to corporate conference guests. Implemented through a mixed colour palette, a range of bespoke furniture and rich patterns, paired with spacious and modern rooms and a wide range of quality amenities all come together to create a memorable experience for guests.
Architectus worked with our in-house design team to create a custom carpet design that met the design requirements of each unique space and cohesively entwined with the contemporary style. The use of cross hatching, overlapping colour blocking and linear shapes all came together with a combination of rich colours to create a contemporary pattern. A different custom design was implemented within each space across the hotel corridors, suite rooms and common areas all coming together to share the same rich colour palette.
Architectus further chose a woven carpet made from premium wool blend fibres creating a high-end finish that is soft underfoot. This flooring selection further contributes to the relaxed feel of the hotel and providing a luxurious feel to each space.
