Project Overview
The Arrowtown Lifestyle Village represents a significant commitment to creating a vibrant community designed for the comfort and well-being of its residents. Encompassing approximately 100 villas, 30 premium townhouses, and future assisted living apartments, and residential aged care facilities, this expansive development aims to enhance the quality of life for its residents while integrating seamlessly into its stunning alpine surroundings. Central to this initiative is the recently completed 1400m² Residents’ Lodge, which serves as the social heart of the village.
Architectural Design
The Residents’ Lodge has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the Arrowtown aesthetic, featuring a variety of social and quiet spaces both inside and out. Residents can enjoy amenities such as a private cinema, fireside lounge, dining spaces, Residents’ Club Bar, salon, fitness centre, indoor heated pool, spa, and library. Outside, beautifully landscaped community gardens, a pétanque piste, barbecue and outdoor dining areas, and walkways enhance the lifestyle experience.
Custom Patterned Loop Pile Carpet Tiles
GH Commercial collaborated with local design firm A Plus Design to elevate the village's spaces through carefully chosen flooring solutions. In the fireside lounge—an inviting haven for relaxation and conversation—GH Commercial worked closely with Mohawk Group in the USA to develop a custom textured patterned loop carpet tile. This design evokes a warm, homey ambiance with a heathered, multi-colored appearance while ensuring exceptional durability and resistance to fading, accommodating the high foot traffic and expansive windows characteristic of the area. The integration of Duracolor® premium nylon ensures the carpet remains stain-resistant, while its modular format allows for easy maintenance, all while radiating a cozy residential charm.
Feltex Woven Carpet
For the deluxe on-site private cinema, GH Commercial installed Feltex Woven Carpet, chosen for its luxurious quality and timeless appeal. The Artisan range, in the captivating deep blue Tartan Bells hue, enriches the cinematic experience. This carpet is crafted from a premium blend of 80% wool and 20% synthetic fibers, ensuring both comfort and durability against spills and foot traffic, allowing residents to enjoy cinematic indulgence for years to come.
Residential Excellence: Premium Wool, Laminate and Timber
All residences at Arrowtown Lifestyle Village have been thoughtfully designed by specialized architects to optimize comfort and style. Most villas are free-standing, featuring ample outdoor living spaces, double glazing, insulation, and covered patios tailored to the local climate.
The villas feature Enchant 48, a stunning New Zealand-made cut pile carpet range crafted from high-quality NZ wool. This gorgeous carpet comes in hearty colors that resonate with the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Wool is an ideal choice for aged care facilities, offering exceptional durability for high-traffic areas while remaining easy to maintain. Its natural stain resistance and inherent ability to wick moisture make it a practical option for everyday living. Additionally, wool’s acoustic properties contribute to a quieter environment, enhancing the overall comfort for residents.
For the hard flooring, a base specification of Legacy laminate is provided, with the option to upgrade to Oak Elegance engineered timber. The laminate is water-resistant, ensuring it can withstand spills and moisture, making it a low-maintenance solution that is perfect for busy lifestyles. The beauty of engineered timber adds a unique premium look to the villas, bringing warmth and sophistication to the interiors. The engineered design offers enhanced stability and resistance to environmental changes, making it an ideal choice for the local climate.
