BCU was originally created in the early 1970’s, BCU was formed by a small group of business owners, predominately banana farmers on the NSW Coast – to provide a local, realistic banking alternative to the big banks. Now nearly 50 years later, BCU spans from Port Macquarie to the Sunshine Coast.

BCU Coffs Harbour office was in need of an upgrade. Having a certain look and feel in mind, Godfrey Hirst’s Australian made carpet tiles were the obvious choice for a quick turnaround on this office re-design. Due to the nature of this high traffic workspace, our carpet plank range Enigma was chosen for this fit-out due to the blended pattern and organic overlay, Enigma provided a textured depth and definition to the floorscape, working well to hide spills and stains.

Colour 7500 Theseus was the colour of choice, this created quite a contrast between the office’s crisp white walls and sleek, clean furnishings. Clever use of colour and pattern can offer more than just a visual aesthetic and instead become a feature of practicality. BCU needed a carpet that was super durable, Enigma met this requirement with its rating of Contract Extra Heavy Duty & Stairs as well as featuring a 15-year commercial guarantee.

BCU were so happy with their chosen carpet, they are exploring Godfrey Hirst as their chosen supplier for all their branches through the north coast.
