6HEAD’s Sydney restaurant is nestled within Campbell Cove’s The Rocks, within the ultimate Circular Quay Sydney location. Housed within a heritage 1839 building constructed from sandstone and beautifully aged timbers. Offering a hand selected and carefully prepared fine dining menu that sees a focus on fresh and quality ingredients. With a wide selection of wines, beers and cocktails 6HEAD offer a range of perfect pairings across their menu selections.
6HEAD – Design Vision
6HEAD’s behavioural design was carefully considered and constructed by the COOOP Design team. Carefully implementing the use of shadows and light, creating a space that is both relaxed and welcoming. Taking a “design for Behaviour” approach within their interior design sees the COOOP team taking time to understand the psychology of visitors and the emotions a space evokes. Therefore, each individual element was carefully selected to further promote a relaxed environment for patrons.
This Sydney location pays homage to Campbell Cove's colonial history with meticulously chosen stacked tiles, shards, stone, and timber elements. These handcrafted materials complement the rustic origins of the building, creating a space that resonates with history. COOOP Design implemented unique textural elements, such as a suspended wall installation featuring hand-carved timber cows and bulls, that speak to the origin of 6HEAD.
Surrounded by the iconic historical hub, The Rocks, 6HEAD immerses visitors in a blend of continental, colonial, city, and maritime histories. The location becomes authentic and unique, manifesting relics of original typography, built fabric, and heritage in a contemporary community.
The COOOP Design team worked with our in-house designers to create the perfect custom carpet to seamlessly match with the considered heritage design of each intended space. Using our Designer Jet® custom carpet technology the COOOP Design team created a design inspired by our customised our Oceanic Collection, drawing from the landscapes of Oceania. The design mirrors the flowing waters of Sydney Harbour, seamlessly blending historical essence, behavioural design, and Oceanic-inspired aesthetics.
Visitors are invited to experience a space woven with cultural narratives, behavioural design elements, sustainable craftsmanship, and inspired design. Campbell's Stores beckons, offering a restaurant interior that seamlessly merges tradition with the vibrant spirit of Australia's artistic evolution.

Using precision engineering to inject dye directly into the pile, Designer Jet® print technology is capable of reproducing virtually any image, logo, drawing or motif, in every conceivable colour, creating bespoke carpet suitable for any commercial project application. Along with rapid production turn-around, Designer Jet® carpets offer great stain resistance and are rated ACCS contract heavy or extra duty.
All Designer Jet® products, from carpet tiles and planks to 1.96m carpet rolls, conform to exacting sustainability standards, using less water, chemicals and dyes than traditional continuous carpet dying processes, and are officially certified Declare Red List free.
