Sustainability Awards – Interior Design
The Sustainability Awards is Australia’s longest running, and most prestigious award program dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating excellence in sustainable design and architecture. With categories spanning commercial, education, and public sector spaces, the awards highlight how thoughtful design and responsible material choices can shape a better future.
The Interior Design category recognises refurbished or reimagined spaces that prioritise sustainability through thoughtful spatial planning, environmentally conscious material selection, and strategies that minimise waste, pollution, and energy use. These projects demonstrate how sustainable thinking can be seamlessly integrated into the transformation of existing interiors.
We extend our congratulations to the winner of the Interior Design category - Boot Factory and Mill Hill Centre Precinct by Archer Office!
Boot Factory and Mill Hill Centre Precinct is an exemplar of adaptive reuse, breathing new life into two Council-owned buildings constructed a century apart, alongside the revitalisation of Norman Lee Place to form a new public square in Bondi Junction.
We also congratulate the Highly Commended for the Interior Design category – Arup Brisbane Workplace by Arup & Greenhouse Grove by Envirotecture.
