We’re proud to see Allie Brant representing Godfrey Hirst as part of the guest panel at the Women in Manufacturing Network (WIMN) Regional Summit on Friday 12 June.

A previous mentee of the WIMN mentoring program, Allie brings a fresh perspective to the industry and is a great representative of the next generation of women building careers in manufacturing.

"My career began in fashion design and product development. Before joining Godfrey Hirst, I was developing clothing for a global company that manufactured offshore. What drew me to Godfrey Hirst was its rich history and commitment to local manufacturing. Being immersed in the full manufacturing process every day is a rare and insightful advantage in this industry. My role in carpet design encompasses pattern development, colour and trend analysis, and applied problem-solving to ensure each product meets both aesthetic and performance requirements. I love the opportunity to blend creativity with technical development to create unique and eye-catching products. It’s always very rewarding to see your own custom designs being installed."

Hosted by the Geelong Manufacturing Council, the WIMN Regional Summit brings together industry leaders, emerging professionals, educators and manufacturers from across regional Victoria. The event focuses on strengthening participation, leadership and career pathways for women in manufacturing, engineering and STEM-related industries.

The Women in Manufacturing Network (WIMN) supports and encourages women across the manufacturing and engineering sectors through mentoring, professional development and networking opportunities.

At GH Commercial, we congratulate Allie on this opportunity and look forward to seeing her share her experiences as part of the panel.
