In the heart of Melbourne’s Docklands precinct, one of Australia’s most iconic sporting and entertainment destinations has unveiled a new era of premium hospitality. The transformation of Marvel Stadium’s event and hospitality spaces celebrates a refined design language – balancing contemporary luxury with the robust performance demands of a high-traffic venue.

Working closely with the project team, GH Commercial supplied 1,800 m² of custom Fast Track® Woven carpet, a product designed to combine the prestige of bespoke Axminster with the agility and efficiency required for commercial projects of this scale.

A Contemporary Vision for Premium Spaces

Marvel Stadium’s brief called for a hospitality experience that elevates guest arrival and connection – a place where design contributes to a sense of occasion.

The interiors showcase a sophisticated palette of warm neutrals, stone-clad bars, brass accents and sculptural lighting, offset by panoramic glazing that opens onto stadium views. The custom Fast Track® Woven carpet grounds these elements with a luxurious tactile texture, adding warmth and acoustic comfort across expansive pre-function and event spaces.

Connecting Space Through Design

The custom Fast Track® Woven carpet installation extends through Marvel Stadium’s signature premium spaces, including:

• Function Lobby – the central arrival space defined by its bespoke insert pattern for a strong first impression.
• Premium Pre-Function Room and Bar – the golden and red ombré highlights naturally guide guests through the space, creating a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.
• Parker Room and Servery – the warmth of the carpet’s colour transitions pairs beautifully with the timber and neutral furnishings, offering an elevated, welcoming feel.
• Stark Room and Servery – the rich tones and gentle ombré effect add depth and character, making the space both vibrant and sophisticated.
